We redesigned Asian Arts Newspaper, a publication dedicated to the visual arts of Asia.

The Asian Art Newspaper was launched in November 1997 and, in 2016, keeps true to its original remit: offering a snapshot of what’s happening in the world of Asian and Islamic art around the globe. The website was looking dated and they wanted to use a new design that would help them to increase their online readership and digital sales.

The old website design was starting to look a bit dated. The old site did not have the same aesthetics and quality of the printed version. I was brought in to consult on creative strategy, UI / UX design and management of the development of a robust Drupal-driven CMS. Integration with their existing apps such as digital issues was also a requirement.

An archival of the back issues, access to the current issue, interviews with leading artists, and the digital edition resulted in 200% increase in visitor stay per session and 62% increase in new sessions.
