I helped the creative team at JWT Toronto with the responsive web design & user interface design for U of T’s Faculty of Medicine.
Under contract to JWT Toronto I worked with a team of UX designers, creative directors, strategists, and developers tasked with the redesign of U of T’s Faculty of Medicine website.
U of T’s Faculty of Medicine website needed a design and usability upgrade. The new site needed to be responsive and also be tied into a robust and easy-to-use Drupal based CMS.

Inspired by flat minimal aesthetics, created a design with a modern, clean UI and delightful interactions. Typography treatment was kept simple, with legibility at the forefront. Interactive behaviors in the mega menu, hover states and sliders incorporate subtle motion to provide a smooth uninterrupted experience between states.
The design simplified for smart devices for faster load times and yet retained the same level of sophistication and aesthetics.
The site is content heavy so clean, legible typography was essential in creating a modern user-centric experience.
Once design approvals were in place, I helped with the development of the website in close collaboration with coders and project managers for a final delivery of a beautiful Drupal driven robust back-end architecture.
